In line with government directive, Dallington Church of England Primary School has now closed to all pupils from Monday 23rd March 2020.   Provision is in place for certain pupils identified by government criteria – this is available from 7.45 am (payable breakfast club) to 3.15 pm each day.  Please contact for details. We will need 48 hours notice to try to put provision in place.

All pupils working from home have work set for them and staff will continue working to update this over the coming weeks.  Please check out the classes tab and look for remote learning for further website links and ideas.  For pupils with out internet access, please contact your class teacher for further learning activities.

If you have any concerns for your health, or that of your children, please contact NHS 111.

Please remember that Childline is always able to help with any safeguarding concerns at or phone 0800 1111.  Please also see our safeguarding policy under the parents tab/policies for other contact details on the front page.

Welcome to Dallington Church of England Primary School

We are a small rural school set in the most delightful surroundings – possibly the most beautiful views in all of East Sussex!

We have a strong commitment to the care and nurture of our children and believe that when children are happy and feel safe, they are then free to learn and enjoy all aspects of school life.

We offer a very rich learning experience for our children, both in and outside of school. We use our extensive grounds at every opportunity and we have many visitors into school and every class has at least one visit, every term, outside of school to enrich their topic work.

As of 1st September 2014 we have formed a 3 school Federation with Punnetts Town CPS and Broad Oak CPS. We are collectively The Woodlands Federation , but still remain 3 individual schools.

We hope that you find what you need from looking at our website, and I am sure that it will give you a flavour of our school. If you would like to visit us, please ring for an appointment, we’d love to show you round.
